• Lower the slide assembly onto the frame and then move it

slightly rearwards just enough to fit the front and rear guide

rails of the frame into the grooves of the slide assembly.

• Ensure that the slide assembly has correctly engaged the

frame.

• Move the slide assembly completely rearwards.

• Check if the slide can smoothly be moved back and forth.

5.2. Disassembling and reassembling the magazine

Disassembling the magazine for cleaning and lubrication is only necessary if

the magazine becomes inoperable due to dirt, debris or other obstructions.

If not already done, press the magazine catch in order to eject

the magazine from the pistol and completely unload the

magazine (refer to § 4.7).
