To reassemble the pistol, proceed as follows :

Ensure that all the

components of the

pistol are perfectly clean

(refer to § 5.4.2).

Insert the muzzle of the

barrel into the barrel

opening at the front

side of the slide.

Push the barrel slightly forwards against the force of the return

spring and then fit the rear end of the barrel into position in the

slide.

Before carrying out the next step, ensure that the take down

lever is at the rear position, that the frame does not contain a

magazine and that the hammer is in the cocked position.

Reinstall the slide assembly onto the frame of the pistol :

• While holding the slide

assembly parallel

above the frame, align

the rear end of the

slide assembly with the

front end of the rear

guide rails of the

frame.
