Pull the slide completely

rearwards and then

release it in order to eject

the remaining round from

the chamber.

If the slide is already automatically locked into the rearward position

after having fired the last round (also refer to § 4.6), this step is not

necessary : grab the slide with your support hand and then press the

slide stop downwards or pull the slide rearwards in order to let the slide

return to its forward position.

Do not forget to pick-up, clean and store the ejected round.
