Press the magazine

catch in order to eject

the magazine.

If the magazine does

not eject, pull on the

bottom plate of the

magazine.

Pull the slide completely rearwards and hold it in that

position.

❖

Through the ejection port, look into the chamber of the

pistol in order to ensure that there is no round in the

chamber.

If there is a round in the chamber, unload the pistol as described

in § 4.7.
