4. USING THE PISTOL

4.1. Safety checks

Carry out the following procedures in order to ensure that the

pistol can be operated, stored and/or transported without any

risk :

If not already done, and using the right or left safety lever,

set the manual safety at the (raised) ‘safe’ position.

When the manual safety is at the (raised) ‘safe’ position, the red

marks are NOT visible.

Before using your FN Five-seveN

pistol, be familiar with the

safety information given in chapter 1 of this Owner’s Manual.
