The magazine is ejected from the Five-seveN

by pressing the

magazine catch, standardly installed on the left side of the pistol.

It is recommended to use the thumb

of the shooting hand to press the

magazine catch and to use the

support hand to catch the ejected

magazine.

The magazine catch is reversible and

can be switched to the other side (for

more information, refer to § 5.3 of

this Owner’s Manual).

The Five-seveN

pistol contains a magazine disconnect. This

disconnect is designed to prevent the Five-seveN

pistol from

being fired if the magazine has been removed.
