2. Rear Sight Use and Adjustment; The BU sight is provided as a primary sighting system or back-up sighting
system if an optic is also being used. The BU sight will fold down when not in use and can be quickly deployed
when needed.
WARNING
Before manipulating or making any sight adjustments, place the “safety” in the on safe position, remove the
magazine, open the action and ensure the chamber is empty as explained in Section 15.1 of your Owner’s Manual.
Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Failure to follow these warnings may result in serious injury or
death

2. Use and Adjustment; The BU sight is adjustable for windage and elevation up to 600 meters. To zero the FN
15™ Military Collector M16 Rifle, the line on the sight cam on the left side needs to align with the 300 meter mark.

3. M5 Rail Adapter System
The M5 Rail Adapter System (RAS) is installed on the FN 15™ Rifle in place of the standard round hand guards.
The RAS system features MIL-STD 1913 rails at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions for mounting various firearm
accessories, including the vertical pistol grip. There are 8 rails covers installed. Retaining clips on the rail covers
will lock into the slots at either end of the adapter rail. To remove rail covers press clip and slide panel off.
