Addendum 2017

3. Buttstock Adjustment
3.1 Adjusting and locking the buttstock
3.1.1 Adjusting: To adjust the length of the buttstock assembly, the upper lever is used to unlock the buttstock. If the locking lever is engaged,
the adjustment lever will automatically disengage the locking lever. While holding the adjustment lever depressed, move the buttstock
forward or aft to the desired position. Release the adjustment lever and the stock should lock into one of the six positions.
3.1.2 Locking: Once the desired stock length has been selected and the stock is set in one of the six positions, press the lower, locking lever to
lock the buttstock, minimizing the movement between the buffer tube and the buttstock. To unlock, simply press the adjustment lever as
described in Section 3.1.1 above.
3.2 Buttstock Storage
The Magpul® STR® Carbine Stock has two small water-resistant storage compartments along each side. Each compartment holds two
CR123A or AA batteries or other small items.
To access the storage compartments, simply pull the rubber plug up and out of the socket it sits in. Each removable plug has a smaller
internal compartment covered by a second plug.
To reinstall the plug and seal the compartment, insert the plug into the compartment’s opening and press the rubber plug into place in
the socket so that it sits flush.
