FN 15™ DMR II Owner’s Manual Addendum

We are pleased that you have chosen an FN 15™ DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) II. The FN 15™ DMR II shares the same reliability, durability,

quality and many of the operating features as other FN 15™ rifles and carbines. However, it has additional special features such as a match-grade

barrel, an FN wedge lock free-float forearm, Magpul® buttstock, pistol grip and a Surefire® muzzle device. This addendum will cover the operation

of those specific features where they differ from the standard FN 15™. The common operations and features are covered in the FN 15™ Auto-

loading Rifle Owner’s Manual supplied with your FN 15™ DMR II.

WARNING

Before inspecting or making any adjustments on the FN 15™ DMR II fully read and understands completely the Owner’s Manual as well as this

Addendum. Place the “safety” in the on safe position, remove the magazine, open the action and ensure the chamber is empty as explained in

Section 15.1 of your Owner’s Manual. Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Failure to follow these warnings may result in

serious injury or death.

2. Special Features and Components of the FN 15™ DMR II

The FN 15™ DMR II is equipped with several special components that were carefully chosen to provide an additional level of performance beyond

what is standard for the FN 15™ Carbine and Rifle. In most cases, these features require no additional instruction beyond those for the standard

components.

1. A hammer forged, chrome-plated 18” barrel chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO for increased accuracy, long life and ease of cleaning. It

features a NAROH Stainless Steel Low Profile Gas Block, pinned.

2. A rifle-length gas system and “H” buffer to soften recoil and provide smooth operation.

3. SureFire® ProComp 556 muzzle brake for improved recoil management and quicker follow-up shots. This muzzle brake is not suppressor

compatible.

4. FN Wedge Lock Rail Assembly, 14.625” in length

5. MagPul® STR® collapsible buttstock, MOE® pistol grip and trigger guard for increased ergonomics.

6. MagPul® GenM3 PMAG™ for longer life and increased durability

3. Buttstock Adjustment 3.1 Adjusting and locking the buttstock 3.1.1 Adjusting: To adjust the length of the buttstock assembly, the upper lever is used to unlock the buttstock. If the locking lever is engaged, the adjustment lever will automatically disengage the locking lever. While holding the adjustment lever depressed, move the buttstock forward or aft to the desired position. Release the adjustment lever and the stock should lock into one of the six positions. 3.1.

4. Free Float Handguard The FN Wedge Lock Rail Assembly 14.625” light weight free-float forearm/rail is installed on the FN 15™ DMR II in place of the standard round handguards. The wedge lock rail assembly extends over a low profile gas block. It allows for mounting of additional grips, sights, laser devices and other accessories onto a rigid, free-float forearm. Additional M-LOK™ slots fill the rest of the top rail.
