SV225 Stray
Voltage Adapter
Stray voltage can appear in elec-
trical installations, due to the
capacity between wires. This
may result in erroneous readings
on high impedance meters. The
SV225 solves this without com-
promising safety.
• On energized wires, the meter
will indicate the real voltage
• On non-energized circuits
the meter will read close to zero
(even if there are stray voltages)
• Can be used on all meters with
standard input spacing
• Safety rating: CAT III 1000 V,
CAT IV 600 V
Note: This adapter should not be used
on low-voltage control circuits or where
the circuit under test could be adversely-
affected by this low impedance load. The
adapter is designed to handle continuously-
applied power system voltages without
damage. However, this adapter can be used
intermittently to determine whether a cir-
cuit is energized.
