How to Use the Touchscreen
The touchscreen lets you use fingertip gestures to control the
tester. You can also operate the touchscreen with a stylus that is
made for projected capacitance touchscreens.
Caution
For correct operation and to prevent damage to the
touchscreen:
 Touch the screen only with your fingers or with a
stylus that is made for projected capacitance
touchscreens. Do not use too much force.
 Do not touch the screen with sharp objects.
Note
The touchscreen will not respond if you tap it with
your fingernail or an incorrect type of stylus or if
you wear non-conductive gloves.
To use the touchscreen
 To select an item on the screen, tap the item lightly with your
fingertip.
 To scroll a screen, lightly touch the screen then move your
fingertip in the direction you want the screen to move.
 On screens that show a plot, use the pinch and reverse-pinch
gestures to change the magnification on the screen. See
Figure 6.
 On screens that show a plot, you can drag some items, such as
the measurement cursor on the trace.
To clean the touchscreen, turn off the tester, then use a soft, lint-
free cloth that is moist with a mild detergent.
Caution
When you clean the touchscreen, do not let liquid
get under the plastic around the touchscreen.
