Thecontinuityfunctionletsyoutestforopensandshorts
onthe8-pinmodularjackorthecoaxialconnector.The
testershowsabargraphofresistancefrom500Ωto
5000Ω,andthetester’saudibletonesvarydependingon
theresistancemeasured.
Onan8-pinjack,thetesterchecksforcontinuity
betweenthewiresinthepairyouselect.Pair12isthe
default.
Tocheckcontinuity:
1 Verifythatthecircuittobetestedisnotpoweredor
