13.10.1 Current output I1 0/4 to 20 mA
The Current output I1 0/4 to 20 mA function allows the operator to define the range in which the current
output is to be operated. Within the range from 0 to 21.6 mA (= 0 ... 110 %)
HART communication
®
is not
possible. The range from 4 to 20.5 mA follows the NAMUR recommendation and covers the range from 0
to 104 % of the measuring range. The standard range from 4 to 21.6 mA allows for a control of the meas-
uring range of up to 110 %.

13.10.2 Current output I1 alarm
This function allows the operator to define the state taken on by the current output when a state of alarm
is detected. This information can be analyzed in the control system. Press

the following settings:
¾ not used no alarm function
¾ > 22 mA current rise in the case of an alarm
¾ < 3.8 mA current reduction in the case of an alarm
