OVERVIEW Pentair® Sump Controller is an easy-to-install, versatile sump pump controller that activates your pump when waters rise. The universal outlet allows the controller to be used with most existing sump pumps.
MOBILE APP REGISTRATION Download the Pentair Home App to your mobile device from the App Store® or Google Play™ Store. Open the App. EXISTING USERS: LOGIN to your account. Existing User NEW USERS: Scroll down in the App and click SIGN UP. Enter a valid EMAIL and PASSWORD. Select TERMS OF SERVICE. Click CREATE AN ACCOUNT. Complete instructions in the VERIFICATION EMAIL. LOGIN to your account.
INSTALL THE SUMP CONTROLLER 1. Unplug your existing sump pump from wall outlet. 2. Plug your pump’s cord into the top outlet of the Sump Controller. 3. Plug the Piggyback Switch into the bottom outlet of the Sump Controller. 4. Plug the Pseudo Plug into the back of the piggyback switch 5. Plug the included reed float switch wires into the side of the Sump Controller. Pseudo Plug 6. Plug the Sump Controller into the wall outlet. 7. Secure the High Level Switch to the discharge pipe with a cable tie.
ADD YOUR DEVICE 1. From the Sump Controller, press and hold the MODE button for 4 to 15 seconds to enter the PAIRING MODE (blinking blue). 2. In the App, go to the Pentair dashboard, then press ADD A DEVICE. Steps 1 & 2 3. Select SUMP CONTROLLER. Click CONTINUE on both the INSTALLATION and the Bluetooth® wireless technology PAIRING screens. Step 3 4. Choose the device (name will always start with the letters PNR).
CONNECT SUMP CONTROLLER TO WIFI 1. Select your home WiFi account, add your home WiFi password and press CONTINUE. Step 1 2. Set the location of your Sump Controller. If you click on SELECT LOCATION, your current location should appear; select it and press SAVE. If not, manually enter the address. Press OK when prompted. 3. You are now connected! Note: During the first 20 pump cycles, the device learns what is normal operating behavior in your installation.
APP OVERVIEW The ACCOUNT icon takes you to all the details of your account, from your profile and device notifications to contacting a professional for service and warranty information. EDIT PROFILE 1. Go to the ACCOUNT screen. 2. Select EDIT PROFILE to: 8 Add/edit your account photo. Add/change your name, email, password or phone number. Change or add an address. Delete your account.
CHANGE WIFI NETWORK 1. Press the GEAR icon on the dashboard. 2. Select WIFI and press CHANGE. 3. Press CHANGE WIFI NETWORK. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 NOTIFICATION PREFERENCES 1. To adjust your notification preferences, go to your ACCOUNT and select NOTIFICATIONS. 2. Select SUMP CONTROLLER, then choose how to receive alerts. 3. Return to the NOTIFICATIONS screen and select News & Marketing. 4. Choose how to receive News & Marketing alerts.
ALERTS All alerts are displayed on the dashboard screen through the MY DEVICE icon. Alerts remain on the dashboard until the issue has been resolved. Consult the Alerts table in this guide for a complete list of possible alerts. Pentair Dashboard Sump Pump Dashboard NICKNAME YOUR PRODUCT 1. Press the GEAR icon in the upper left of the App. 2. Select PRODUCT OVERVIEW. 3. Press NICKNAME, update it, then press SAVE.
CONTROLLER MODES The Sump Controller has several operational modes that effect how the unit functions. These include: TIMER: In Timer mode, the pump will turn on and run for the time duration set in the App. It will automatically return to Auto mode after the timer expires. AUTO: This is the default operational mode of the Sump Controller. GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING Fault Pump Won’t Start Pump Won’t Stop Cause Corrective Action Either Sump Controller or pump are not fully plugged in. Float and pump were plugged into the wrong outlets on Sump Controller. Check that all plugs are securely plugged in and seated properly. Swap plugs between the top and bottom on Sump Controller. Check Float Switch is moving freely and clear fault by pressing the Sump Controller button twice in quick succession.

APERÇU Le contrôleur de puisard Pentair® est un contrôleur de pompe de puisard polyvalent et facile à installer qui active votre pompe lorsque l’eau monte. La prise universelle permet au contrôleur d’être utilisé avec la plupart des pompes de puisard existantes.
INSCRIPTION À L’APPLICATION MOBILE Télécharger l’application Pentair Home sur un appareil mobile à partir de l’App Store® ou de Google Play™ Store. Lancer l’application. Utilisateur actuel UTILISATEURS ACTUELS : SE CONNECTER à son compte. NOUVEAUX UTILISATEURS : Dans l’application, faire défiler vers le bas et cliquer sur SIGN UP (S’INSCRIRE). Saisir une adresse COURRIEL et un MOT DE PASSE valides. Sélectionner les MODALITÉS DE SERVICE. Cliquer sur CREATE AN ACCOUNT (CRÉER UN COMPTE).
INSTALLATION DU CONTRÔLEUR DE PUISARD 1. Débrancher la pompe de puisard actuelle de la prise murale. 2. Brancher le câble de la pompe dans la prise supérieure du contrôleur de puisard. 3. Brancher l’interrupteur superposable de la pompe dans la prise inférieure du contrôleur de puisard. 4. Brancher la prise factice à l’arrière de l’interrupteur superposable. 5. Brancher les fils de l’interrupteur à flotteur à lames inclus dans le côté du contrôleur de puisard. Prise factice 6.
AJOUT D’UN APPAREIL 1. À partir du contrôleur de puisard, appuyer sur le bouton MODE et le maintenir enfoncé pendant 4 à 15 secondes pour activer le MODE COUPLAGE (bleu clignotant). 2. En appuyant sur SELECT LOCATION (SÉLECTIONNER L’EMPLACEMENT), l’emplacement actuel devrait s’afficher; le sélectionner et appuyer sur SAVE (Enregistrer). Si ce n’est pas le cas, entrer manuellement l’adresse. Appuyer sur OK à l’invite. 3.
APERÇU DE L’APPLICATION L’icône ACCOUNT (COMPTE) permet d’accéder à l’ensemble du compte, du profil et des notifications de l’appareil à la mise en contact avec un professionnel afin d’obtenir des informations sur le service et la garantie. MODES DU CONTRÔLEUR Le contrôleur de puisard dispose de plusieurs modes de fonctionnement qui influent sur le fonctionnement de l’unité. Liste des modes de fonctionnement : TIMER (MINUTERIE) : En mode minuterie, la pompe se met en marche et fonctionne selon la durée définie dans l’application. Elle reviendra automatiquement en mode automatique après ce délai. AUTO : Il s’agit du mode de fonctionnement par défaut du contrôleur de puisard.
