withthechainandchainbarpointing

transportingthehighpruningsaw.
• Donotusethehighpruningsawnear
inammableliquidsorgases.Withnon-
observance,reorexplosiondanger
exists.
Handling the device with care:
• Donotcarrythedevicebythecable.
Donotusethecableinordertopullthe
plugfromtheplugsocket.Protectthe
cableagainstheat,oilandsharpedges.
• Keepthesawchainsharpandclean,in
ordertobeabletoworkbetterandmore
safely.
• Keepunuseddevicesinadry,closed
locationandoutofthereachofchildren.
• Putonthebladeprotectioncover
whentransportingthehighpruning
saw.
• Donotcutwoodthatislyingonthe
ground.
Precautions against spring-
back
Bewareofspring-back!Becarefulof
spring-backofthemachineduring
work.Thereisdangerofinjuryhere.
Youcanavoidspring-backsbyex-
ercisingcautionandusingacorrect
sawingtechnique.
Spring-backisthedesignationforalight-
ning-fastbackwardsimpulseofthehigh
pruningsawandthechainbarfromthe
sawedobject.Itoccursifthereboundarea
(seeFig.1,a)onthepointofthebladeisin
contactwithanobjectorifthewoodjamsthe
highpruningsawduringcutting.
Whenaspring-backoccurs,theuserreceives
astrongbackwardshockfromthehighprun-
ingsawandthechainbar.Theresultcanbe
thathelosescontrolofthehighpruningsaw
andseriouslyinjures
• Alwaysgripthepowersawrmlywith
bothhands,withtherighthandtothe
rearandwiththelefthandonthefront
handle.Thumbandngermustclose
overthehandlessecurely.
• Donotsawwiththepointoftheblade
(seeFig.1,b)oraboveshoulder
height.Donotleanovertoofarduring
thesawingoperation.
• Youhavebettercontrolwhenyousaw
withthebottomsideofthechainbar
andnot
withthetopsideofthechain
bar.
• Beespeciallycarefulduringtheremoval
ofbranches.Ensurethatthereareno
objectslyingaroundonthegroundthat
youcantripover.
• Payattentiontotheinstructionsfor
sharpeningandmaintenanceofthe
powersaw.
