Turning on your floorsense sensor
Congratulations on your purchase of the floorsense occupancy sensor. The following
instructions will walk you through the process of turning on your sensor and mapping
it to a location on a floorsense controller floorplan.
In order to operate the floorsense sensor and discover occupancy data you will need to deploy the floorsense
controller hardware and have an account setup at floorsense.com.au. The floorsense controller should be deployed
prior to attempting to activate sensors. For more information on floorsense controllers please visit https://

1. Unpack your floorsense sensor and identify the installation location
2. Use a paper clip or end of a pen to toggle the on-off switch to ON position
3. The LED light will flash red and then green. After between 30-60 seconds the LED will flash blue once every 60
seconds when it connects to the floorsense controller.
4. Install the floorsense sensor in its final location - for example under a desk. See the hardware installation guide at
