T-Mold Installation
T-Molding: This piece of trim is used in doorways and as a transition to floors of the same
height.
Installation:
A gap of 1” to 1-1/4" wide needs to be left between the two floors to properly install the
molding. Measure the T-Molding to determine the proper fit. Apply a 1/4" bead of urethane-
based construction adhesive to only one side of the T-Molding. Set the T-Molding into the
gap and press firmly.
To ensure a tight bond, it’s recommended to place painter’s tape on the newly glued T-
Molding until the glue dries (24-48 hrs).
