Operation1.Ensurethattheradioisfullypoweredon,byholdingtheP
owerbuttonforatleast3seconds.
2.Ifyoursystemincludesahandset,ithasitsownindependentpowerbutton,locatedonthetopedgeofthe
handset.Pressandholdthebuttonforatleast3seconds,untilthedisplaylightsup.
Blownfuse/trippedbreak
er1.Checkthefuse,locatedinlinewiththepowercable.Ensurethatithasthecorrectrating(10A),asanunder-rated
fusecanaffectthepowersuppliedtotheradio.Ifthefusehasblown,replacewithanew10Afuse.
2.Checktheconditionofrelevant/additionalfusesandbreakersandconnections,replaceifnecessary.
3.Iffusekeepsblowingcheckforcabledamage,brokenconnectorpinsorincorrectwiring.

1.Checkthatthepowercableconnectorisfullyinsertedintotheunitandlockedinposition.
2.Checkthepowersupplycableandconnectorsforsignsofdamageorcorrosion,replaceifnecessary.
3.Withtheunitturnedon,tryflexingthepowercableneartothedisplayconnectortoseeifthiscausestheunitto
re-boot/loosepower,replaceifnecessary.
4.Checkthevessel’sbatteryvoltage,theconditionofthebatteryterminalsandpowersupplycables,ensuring
connectionsaresecure,cleanandfreefromcorrosion,replaceifnecessary.
5.Withtheproductunderload(whentransmittingat25W),usingamulti-meter,checkforahighvoltagedrop
acrossallconnectors/fusesetc,andreplaceifnecessary.
Incorrectpowerconnection
Thepowersupplymaybewiredincorrectly ,ensuretheinstallationinstructionshavebeenfollowed.
