8.2ScanMode

Scanmodeenablesautomaticsearchingforchannels

thatarecurrentlybroadcasting.

Scanmodewillsearchthroughavailablechannels

andstopwhenitﬁndsachannelthatiscurrently

broadcasting.Ifthebroadcaststopsorislostformore

than5secondsthenthescanwillresume.

Channelscanbetemporarilyremovedfromanactive

scan,andthedirectionofscancanalsobechanged.

Whenthescanreachesthelastchannelinthebandthe

scancycleisrepeated.

Thefollowingscansoptionsareavailable:

thatwillbescannedwhenperformingaSaved

channelscan.

3.DuringScanmode,pressthe Backbuttonatanytime

toendtheScanmodeandresumenormaloperation.

Channel16isthededicatedprioritychannel.

Thedefaultsecondaryprioritychannelischannel09.

Thesecondprioritychannelcanbechangedifdesired.

ThesensitivityleveloftheradiocanbesettoLocal

modeorDistantmode.

Localmodedecreasesthereceiversensitivityinhigh

trafﬁcareastoreduceunwantedreception.Whenin

Localmodethe‘Loc’iconisdisplayedinthestatusbar.

Distantmodesetsthereceiversensitivitytofull.
