VCM100powerandgroundingrequirements.
TheVCM100isintendedforuseonships’DCpowersystemsoperatingfrom12to24VoltsDC.
•TheVCM100mustbeconnectedtoabatteryisolatorswitch,oraDCdistributionpanel.
•ThebatteryisolatorswitchorDCdistributionpanelmustbeconnectedtothePOWERINterminals
oftheVCM100.
•DoNOTconnectadditionalpowerswitchestothecableprovidingthepowerfeedtotheVCM100.
•AllpowerconnectionsbetweentheVCM100andthepowersourcemusthaveappropriatefuse
protection.
•Allpowerconnectionsmustbeofhighqualitytominimizeresistanceandtoremovetherisk
ofaccidentalshorts.
•TheVCM100SCREENterminalsmustbeconnectedtoyourvessel'sRFgroundsystem.
•DoNOTconnecttheradarscannerortheVCM100toapositively-groundedpowersystem.
