STEP #1 – APPLY FLOOD PROTECTION PASTE IN A CARTRIDGE
1. Make sure the areas being sealed are clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, dirt, and debris.

2. Inspect every window, windowsill, frame, and casing to identify where water may enter.
3. Cut the nib o the Flood Paste (cartridge), screw on nozzle, cut the nozzle to the desired bead
thickness, then ll any gaps, cracks or holes where water may enter.

4. Apply an even bead of Flood Paste directly into the seams where windows open, where
windowpanes come in contact with the frame, and where the window meets the casing.

5. Apply an even bead of Flood Paste to seal where the window casing meets the exterior wall.

6. Use a gloved nger or our Flex Gap Filler tool to push the Flood Paste into all seams
and smooth out.

7. Let the rst coat of Flood Paste dry to the touch (2-6 hours*).
8. Apply additional coats of Flood Paste as needed. Each coat should be wider and overlap the previous
coat’s edges. Let each coat dry to the touch before applying the next coat.

STEP #2 – APPLY FLOOD PROTECTION LIQUID
1. Use a brush to apply a generous amount of Flood Liquid directly on top of the Flood Paste, with
each coat being wider and overlapping the previous coat. This will help seal any small openings or
pinholes that may have been missed.

2. Once the Flood Liquid is dry to the touch (3-6 hours*), apply as many additional coats as necessary
to ensure all openings are sealed, with each individual coat being wider and overlapping the previous
coat. Let each coat dry to the touch before applying the next coat.

Flood Protection
Flood Paste in a Cartridge is the base coat for your rst layer of protection. Use a gloved nger, Flex
Gap Filler tool, or similar tool to push into all seams and openings to help create a watertight seal.
Always be cautious of any sharp object that may cause injury.
