LINKAGE AND HORIZONTAL STABILIZER INSTALLATION (CONTINUED)
13
Using an M2x10 screw, M2 washer, and M2 lock nut, secure the elevator and rudder linkages to the corresponding control horn. Do not
use thread lock, as it can damage the nylon insert in the lock nut. The screw should be placed through the washer, then through the ball
link, control horn (or servo arm), followed by the lock nut.
Remove the servo arm screws from the aileron servos. Apply blue thread lock to the screws, and resecure in place.
Verify all linkages are in their proper locations using the diagram below for reference.

NOTICE
The DS-33HV servos installed in your QQ Cap 232EX are high quality, digital servos with all metal gear train and fine
gear mesh. This fine resolution and high tooth count output shaft means that the servo arms pre-installed on the servos
may inadvertantly be misaligned, yet appear properly installed. It is critical to ensure the positive, perpendicular
orientation of the arm to the case to ensure that the travel of the servos is even from side to side at extreme throws. If the
arms are not installed properly, remove and realign as needed. Be sure to use blue thread lock on the servo arm screw.
