The RadioRouter
®
Base Station O utdoor Installation Guide covers all of the necessary
information required to physica lly install the RadioRouter base station ha rdware. This guide
assumes that a suitable site has a lrea d y been prepared. A che cklist is provided to assess the site
prior to installation.
Once the physical installation is complete, the base station can be configured and commissioned.
Instructions for the configuration process can be found in the RadioRouter
®

Commissioning Guide.
The R adioR outer base station has the following physical charac teristics:
• Standard EIA 19 inch rack mount
• 44 U of electronics mounting height
• 62.5” H x 49.2” W x 42.6” D w ith door and rear pa nel installed
• 1133 lbs with 2 hour battery backup
• Inherent forc ed air cooling heat e xchange r s ystem with PAs and filters cooled with direct ex-
ternal air
• Front and rear acce ss provided for maintenance
• Welded alum inum construction
• Antenna and T1 ca b le entry from rear
• Power c able entry f rom side
• Vented battery c ompartment with rem ovable drawer access
