Powering Up the Cabinet

The cabinet require s DC powe r to operate. Before attem p ting to power up the cabinet, verify that

DC power is available. It m a y be necessary to wait for a maintenance window to connec t the

cabinet to DC power and perform this procedure.

WARNING:

ALL POWER OPERATIONS SHOULD BE PERFORM ED BY QUALIFIED

PERSONNEL ONLY. BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO POWER UP THE

SYSTEM, CONFIRM THAT ALL POWER CONNECTIONS HAVE BEEN

MADE PR OPERLY.

8.1. Powering Up the Cabinet

The cabinet is powered up using the circuit breakers on the distribution panel on the front of the

cabinet. See Figure 8-1: Distribution Panel with Circuit Breakers — Front View.

For this procedure you will nee d a volt meter.
