Chapter 3: Installing t he Cabinet
1.
Locate the coaxial cables c onnec ting the LNA s and PAs on the f ront of the base station.
Figure 3-4 shows the loca tion of the cables.

Disconnect the lower end of each cable which is the end connected to the PA.

On each LNA and PA, loose n the four ca ptive mounting screw s until they pop out.
4.
Reseat all of the LNAs and PAs:
4.a.
Slowly pull out ea ch module until it disengages from the rea r c onnector — about 1
to 2 i nches.
4.b.
Slowly push in the module until it is fir mly ree ngage d with the rear connector.
5.
Hand tighten the captive mounting screws on all the LNAs and PAs.
6.
Reconnect the coaxial cables. U se a calibrated torque wrench and tighten to 18–22 ft lbs.
