FISSLER BLUE-POINT
Problem
The Fissler Euromatic expels steam
longer than usual at the beginning.
No steam escapes from the Fissler
Euromatic at the beginning.
Steam escapes at the edge of the lid.
The indicator rod does not rise.
Possible reason
The safety slide is not in the closed
position .
The Fissler Euromatic valve or its O-
ring is soiled or damaged.
The cooker is not closed properly.
The pressure cooker is not on a
burner of the correct size.
The heat source is not set at high.
There is too little liquid in the cooker.
The rubber gasket is not properly in
place.
The rubber gasket is dirty or
damaged.
The cooker is not closed properly.
There is too little liquid in the cook-
er.
The rubber gasket is damaged or
hardened.
The Fissler Euromatic or its O-ring is
dirty or damaged.
How to correct problem
Push the safety slide into the closed
position .
Clean or replace these parts.
Close cooker properly.
Place the pressure cooker on a burn-
er of the correct size.
Set the heat source at its highest set-
ting.
Add the minimum amount (1/4 liter)
of liquid.
Insert the gasket properly.
Clean or replace the part.
Close the cooker properly.
Add the minimum amount (1/4 liter)
of liquid.
Insert a new gasket.
Clean or replace the parts.
