PREPARING THE OVEN ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
Unpacking the oven
Donot usedoorhandlesor any part of the controlpanelfor liftingthe product.
Beforethe productis lifted, theoven doorsandracks are to beremoved.
-] ARNING: Extremecare isto betaken when lifting the productas it
is veryheavy. Failureto do so may resultin injury.
1. Carefullylay the product on its back. Removethe externalwrappingandthe
bottom polystyreneprotectorandpallet. Standthe productup and removeall
other polystyrenepackaging.
2. Removethe oven doors.This is done by:
• Openthe oven doorfully.
• Lift the catcheson both of the hingesover towards you onto the hooks
of the hingearm(see picture below).
• Raisethe doorslightly, holdingon either side nearthe handle,making
sure that the clips stay on the hooks.
WARNING: Do notlift the doorout bythe handleas this may cause
damageto the product.
• Liftthe doorout.

3. Removethe wire shelvesand oven trays by sliding them out. Useboth hands
to removeeachitem. Removethe cardboardpackagingfrom the ovencavity.

The electricalvoltage andfrequencythat is correct for this oven is stated onthe
serial numberplate locatedinsidethe top vent. It is the customerresponsibilityto
ensurethat this ovenis connectedto the correct electrical supply.
WARNING :The oven mustbe connectedto a permanentand
groundedsupply.

CONNECTOVENWITH COPPERWIRE ONLY
• Theflexible armouredcableshould be connecteddirectly to the junction box.
• Do not cut the conduit,
• A U.L.listed conduit connectormust be providedat the junction box.
• Do not groundto a gas pipe.
• Do not havea fuse in the groundingor neutral circuit.
• Fuseboth sidesof the line.
• A time delay fuse or circuit breakeris recommended. If using a time delay
fuse, then fuse both sides of the line.
• Flexiblearmouredcable from the applianceshould be connecteddirectlyto
the junction box.
• Connectdirectlyto the fused disconnect(or circuit breakerbox)through flexible,
armoredor non-metallicsheathed,copper cable (with groundingwire).
• If codespermit anda separategroundingwire is used,it is recommended
that a qualifiedelectrician determinethat the groundingpathand wire gauge
is in accordancewith local codes.
• Do not use an extensioncordwith this appliance.
