2.3 Using Stylus and Tablet Buttons

USING YOUR COMPATIBLE STYLUS

To interact with your Convertible Tablet PC, use the Compatible Stylus

that is included with your PC. It is a unique tool that takes the place of a

mouse or a standard keyboard. Instead of using a standard keyboard or

mouse, you can use your stylus with Microsoft® Tablet PC Input Panel or

Microsoft® Windows® Journal to enter text with your own handwriting or

through a screen keyboard.

Using

the pen instead of a mouse

With the stylus, you can do many things that you are used to doing with the

mouse. You can point on the screen, click the left and the right mouse.

Use a single-tap anywhere that you would normally use a mouse with a

single-click. Use the same method, double-tap with the stylus, to

perform the same function of double-clicking a mouse.

There are four basic stylus functions. The pen actions that correspond to

mouse functions are as follows:
