1.6 The Left Side of the Notebook
The left side of your notebook computer provides the features shown in the
following figure.
1. DC Power Port 2. Modem Port
3. Optical Disk Drive 4. USB 2.0 Ports
5. Headphone Jack 6. Microphone Jack
• DC Power Port
Lets you connect the AC power adapter in supplying continuous power to
your notebook and recharging the battery.
• Modem Port
A 56K internal fax/data modem is installed. It keeps you connected to the
outside world through phone line.
