STARTING THE ENGINE
5. OPERATING PROCEDURES
(a) Make certain the generator is on a flat, level surface.
(b) Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.Never start or stop the generator
with electrical devices plugged in or turned
on.
(c)Turn the fuel cap vent lever to the
“ON” position.

(d) Turn the fuel valve to the “On” position.
(e) Slide choke lever right to the “Choke”
position.
(h) As engine warms up, Slide choke lever left to the “Run” position.
(f)Turn the engine switch to the “On”
position.
(g)Pull the starter cord slowly until
resistance is felt and then pull rapidly.
