Quick Start Guide
WARNING:
1. UNPACK GENERATOR
(a) Do not attempt to lift generator out of the carton. Cut each corner of the carton
to open and lay carton flat.
(b) Prior to assembly check to ensure you have all the included items. If items are
missing or damaged contact the dealer.

TOOLS NEEDED:
Using a generator indoors CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES. Generator exhaust contains
carbon monoxide. This is a poison you can not see or smell.
Never use inside a home or garage.
EVEN IF doors and windows are open.
Only use OUTSIDE and far away from
windows, doors, and vents.
Avoid other generator hazards.
READ MANUAL BEFORE USE.

2. BASIC ASSEMBLY
(a) Move generator to a flat, level surface.
(b) Install wheels and support leg
3. ADD LUBRICANT AND FUEL
(a) Remove lubricant fill cap.
(b) Use a funnel to pour lubricant into the engine.
Fill to the upper mark of the oil dipstick.
Use caution to avoid spilling (see Figure 2).
(c) Replace lubricant fill cap.
(d) Move generator outside to a flat, level surface.
(e) Remove fuel cap and fill with
REGULAR UNLEADED fuel. Do not overfill.
(f) Replace fuel cap.
4. MOVE GENERATOR TO SAFE OPERATING LOCATION
(a) Move generator outside to a flat, level surface, away from doors, windows and vents.

6. POWER CONTROL PANEL
(a) With generator running, power is now
provided to the receptacles.
(B) Plug in items to be powered, using only
grounded extension cords.
WARNING: DO NOT overload generator or electrical cords.
7. SHUT DOWN AND STORAGE PROCEDURES
(a) Remove any load from the generator
(b) To turn the engin OFF, press and hold the OFF switch until the engine stops.
(c) Turn fuel switch to OFF .
(d) If generator is to be stored for longer than 30 days, refer to the operator's manual for
further instructions.

Carbon monoxide (CO) alarms
Unleaded fuel (minimum 87 octane)
Do not use E15 or E85 fuel (or fuel containing
greater than 10% ethanol) in this product. It is
a violation of federal law and will damage the
unit and void your warranty.

(1) Check the oil level and fuel.
(2) Turn fuel valve under tank to ON
(3) Turn the engine switch to ON
(4) Move choke lever to START position.
(5) Pull recoil starter to start the engine.
For electric start ,turn the engine switch to START .
(6) Move choke lever to RUN position.

Slide the wheel bolt through the wheel, the mount point on the frame and
washer. Press the pin into the bolt. Fasten the bolt with the nut.
Attach the support leg to the generator frame with cap screws and nuts.
