For a safe and pleasant heang experience, perform this check before each
use:


I am familiar with enre owners manual and understand all precauons
noted.

All components are properly assembled, intact and operable.
m
No alteraons have been made.
m
All gas connecons are secure and do not leak.
m
Wind velocity is below 10 mph.
m
Unit will operate at reduced eciency below 40°F.
m
Fire pit is for outdoor use (outside any enclosure).
m
There is adequate fresh air venlaon.
m
Fire pit is away from gasoline or other ammable liquids or vapors.
m
Fire pit is away from windows, air intake openings, sprinklers and other
water sources.
m
Fire pit is at least 2 feet (24 inches) overhead and at least 2 feet (24 inches)
on sides from combusble materials.
m
Fire pit is on a hard and level surface.
m
There are no signs of spider or insect nests in re pit orices.
m
All burner passages are clear.
m
All air circulaon passages are clear.
m
Children and adults should be alerted to the hazards of high surface
temperatures and should stay away to avoid burns or clothing ignion.
m
Young children should be carefully supervised when they are in the area of
the heater.
m
Clothing or other protecve material should not be hung from the heatert,
or placed on or near the heater.
m
Any guard or other protecve device removed for servicing the heater
must be replaced prior to operang the heater.
m
Installaon and repair should be done by a qualied service person. The
heater should be inspected before each use and at least annually by a
qualied service person.
m
More frequent cleaning may be required as necessary. It is imperave
that control compartment, burner and circulang air passageways of the
heater be kept clean.



2. Gas tank valve is OFF.
3. Disconnect gas line.
