7 Generating Report

Using the Reports option in PS-Tools, you can generate the configuration data report, which gives

the configuration information of the input, output, and optional modules, and the fire alarm system

settings. This report is generated as a PDF file. You can store the reports to maintain the

configuration information of the fire panel at different times and dates. A printout of the

configuration data report helps in manual verification of the fire alarm system settings.

To generate the report

1. Using the Fi

nd option from the initial customer details window in PS-Tools, select a

customer record.

2. Click Reports > Configuration Datafrom the initial customer details window in PS-Tools.

The configuration data report for the selected customer is generated as a PDF file.

Note You can generate the configuration report only for the configuration saved in the

PS-Tools database. You cannot generate the report for Factory Default configuration.

By default, the configuration data report is stored in the C:\PS-Tools\Reports folder.
