GENERAL INFORMATION The EVENAIR® should be installed in branch ducts serving individual rooms, where proper air flows cannot be achieved. The EVENAIR® is not designed for installation in the main air supply ducts. Locating the EVENAIR® near the outlet end of a problem branch duct will provide the best performance. The EVENAIR® is designed to operate in round metal or flexible type ducts. EXAMPLE: Use the 6" KS EVENAIR® for 6" ducts and the 8" KS EVENAIR® for 8" ducts.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Locate the EVENAIR® in the duct pipe near the problem area. Allow adequate space for the removal of the unit for servicing or annual inspection. FOR METAL DUCT PIPE 1 1. Separate the duct at a joint near the problem area and cut 6-3/4" off the end of the duct pipe. (See Figure 1) Figure 1 2. An alternative method is to cut a 5-3/4" section out of the duct pipe. (See Figure 2) Then crimp the end of the duct pipe with at least 1" crimp. (See Figure 3) 3.
UNIT WIRING INSTRUCTIONS A permanent wiring method must be used for power connection. It is recommended that a minimum size of 14 AWG wire for electrical supply connections and wiring should be suitable for 90oC (194oF) temperature. The EVENAIR® should be wired with an overcurrent protection device (fuse or circuit breaker) rated 15 amperes or less. Wiring method should be in accordance with the National Electrical Code and any local code requirements.

INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION Placer l’appareil EVENAIR® dans le conduit près de l’emplacement à mauvaise circulation. AUMENTADOR DE PRESIÓN DEL AIRE MODELO: KS-4,5,6,8 INFORMACIÓN GENERAL El Reforzador de aire EVENAIR® ha sido diseñado para aumentar el flujo de aire caliente o frío en los conductos secundarios de un sistema de calefacción y aire acondicionado central. El EVENAIR® también se puede usar para mejorar el flujo de aire de un generador de aire caliente de gravedad. El EVENAIR® se debe instalar en los conductos secundarios para las habitaciones individuales, en donde no se puede obtener un flujo de aire adecuado.
INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN Ubique el EVENAIR® en el tubo de conducto cercano a la zona de problemas. Deje un espacio adecuado para sacar la unidad y poder hacer las reparaciones, el mantenimiento o las inspecciones anuales. PARA TUBOS DE CONDUCTO MÉTALICOS 1. Separe el conducto en una junta cerca de la zona de problemas y corte 6-3/4” del extremo del tubo de conducto. (Ver Figura 1) 2. Un método alternativo es el de cortar una sección de 53/4” del tubo de conducto.
INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL CABLEADO DE LA UNIDAD Se debe usar un método permanente de cableado para la conexión de la corriente. Se recomienda un alambre de 14 AWG como tamaño mínimo para las conexiones de suministro eléctrico y un cableado adecuado para temperaturas de 90° C (194° F).
