1.2 Positioning systems with the SPC200
1.2.1 Components of a pneumatic positioning axis
With pneumatic axes the SPC200 takes over the control and
positioning of the axes. The measuring system and the pro
portional directional control valve are connected via the axis
interface which is placed directly on the drive.
The axis interface is connected to the SPC200 by only one
cable, the axis interface string.
The following diagram shows
the basic layout of a pneumatic axis with the SPC200.
