3.1.5 Power supply of the CPX terminal
Note
Check within the framework of your EMERGENCY STOP
concept to ascertain the measures necessary for putting
your machine/system into a safe state in the event of an
EMERGENCY STOP (e.g.switching off the operating voltage
for the valves and output modules, switching off the com
pressed air).
Note
When supplying power to CPX terminals with connected
pneumatics:
· Note that the lower tolerance range of the pneumatics
must be observed when the operating and load voltage
supplies are provided by a power unit.
Tolerance ranges:
MPA pneumatics: ±25%,
VTSA pneumatics: ±10%
Midi/Maxi pneumatics:±10%
CPA pneumatics: +10/−15% or
CPX−CP interface: +10/−15%.
Power is supplied to the CPX terminal (in the form of operat
ing and load voltages) via supplies in the interlinking blocks
(see section1.1.3 for an overview of the supplies). These con
duct the operating and load voltages to the neighbouring
modules.
