Cathodic inhibitors
Metals in the water react with water and
form deposits on the cathode metal surface.
Anodic inhibitors
React with metal ions on the anode and create
an insoluble and protective film e.g. nitrates and
molybdates.

Adsorb onto metal surfaces and provide a
hydrophobic, protective film over the metal.

Fernox inhibitors are suitable for all types of boilers, radiators and pipework systems and are compatible
with all materials in a heating system. There is no risk of damage to the system by exceeding the recommended dose but
full protection can be compromised if the system is under dosed.
