2. Raise the temperature of bearing cone (25). Install
bearing cone (25).

3. Raise the temperature of seal ring carrier (24) and
install shaft assembly (21). Install seal rings (23).

4. Position housing assembly (22) over the shaft
assembly. Raise the temperature of bearing cone
(26) and install bearing cone (26). Install lip seal
(27) after a djusting the end play.

5. Use Tooling (E) to adjust shims (20) in order to
allow 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) to 1.0 mm (0.04 inch) of
end play. Install shims (20), yoke assembly (18),
bolt (19), the retainer, the spacer, the O-ring seal,
and the lip seal.
