The default direction is the arrow direction must be pointing towards the nose of the plane (i.e. direction of flight). You can change the direction to four directions via the GCS software, i.e direction forward, back, left, right (shown below) .

This is a sensitive antenna for GPS signals, while false signals reflected from the ground is effectively filtered out. Install the GPS unit horizontally. Keep metal objects and other conductive materials such as carbon fibre away from the GPS unit. Additionally no transmitting antenna should be around the GPS antenna.
Guilin Feiyu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd Data Radio module installation The Data Radio module should placed away from the GPS module , Panda2 module and the servos as far as possible, in order to avoid the disruption of these devices. The Data Radio antenna should be vertically up or down when you install it . Certain frequency bands from the Data Radio can interfere with servos due to electromagnetic emission.

Also yellow, white, purple and other colors light through the combination. Operators can know the Panda2‘s operating mode by judging the different colors which the LED sends out and the flash frequency. green light flash means GPS location fixed, red and blue light indicate Panda2 working mode.

Insert the USB data cable into your computer(don't connect any other things into USB data cable ) , you will find there is more than one port(COM and LPT), the port―COM1‖in the ―Prolific USB-to-Serial Com Port (COM1)‖ exactly is the Virtual serial number. Open the GCS, you can see the following interface.

Please choose the right COM"X"(Like:COM1),baud rate:19200 and click on "Connect" button, this time will pop-up a dialog, ask you to enter a file name which used to keep records of the flight trajectory. For example we input the file name "test", click on for sure, the trajectory will be saved into "test.log" file.

LEFT Roll the plane & the left aileron should automatically move downwards, while the right aileron should move up. If the servo movement is incorrect, you need to reverse the automated servo movement via the GCS software setting. Refer ‘Servo Control Reverse setting’ in this Manual.

Pleases refer to the throttle output at the servo display as shown to the right. With your throttle at the lowest setting the number should read 1000. As your throttle up this number should get larger.

You can through the ― ‖ to set waypoint altitude(default is 200m). Click right mouse button on ― for ending waypoint plan. Then click ― ‖. After uploading, you can clear the current waypoints via click the ― ― ‖ ‖ button. And then click ‖, download waypoints in panda, check the waypoints are correct.

Use your RC sticks to control the aircraft servos surface to see the movement is right or not. 6. To Check the servo control surface automatic movement and setting install direction, also the airspeed and altimeter, First, you should switch"SW2" to "NULL" mode, then switch "SW1" to the " Stabilized Mode ".

Pushing the throttle ,and check whether the value of the " AHRS ERROR " is increase at each throttle part. The normal situation is at the value of 0, if the values continue to increase, it shows that you need to do more damping installation for Panda2 module. If you do not do well job for damping installation, the aircraft can not take off. 8.
Guilin Feiyu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd 11.Gyro Initialization: Please click on the ―Gyro Init‖ button to do the gyro reset. Attention: During the gyro reset, please keep the panda2 static and you can not to do the gyro rest during the flight. It‘s better to do the gyro reset before each flight. 12. Initialization of the airspeed: Put the aircraft keep static, you can use your hand to cover the port of the airspeed , and do not let the wind interfere with the airspeed sensor, then click the button .

Guilin Feiyu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd 16. Target speed setting(Default setting is 60km/h).The flight speed is very important, you can not optional Settings. The speed must can keep aircraft keep normal flight. We suggest not increase the settings too high, it may cause very unusual flying behavior and may result in damage of your aircraft due to excessive throttling. You can through watch the ―GPS speed‖ shows on our GCS software and assess the flight cruising speed to set the target speed.
Guilin Feiyu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd Auto take-off setting and debugging Attack angle: Use this to adjust the Auto take-off pitch setting(default is 25 deg). Take-off Spd: Ground speed setting during take-off(We suggest you set to 0). Take Off Throttle:We suggest you set to 90. Automatic take-off is not suitable for all model aircraft, it's more suitable for hand or catapult take-off aircraft.

One is landing point, please click on point A .Another is Home point, please click on to set to set point B ,The auto landing air route is A-B, and B is the aircraft landing point. Point C is the automatically generated downward spiral point during the auto landing procedure.

Through SW2: switch to any navigation mode(―Preset Path & Waypoint Navigation Mode‖ or ―Return To Launch Mode‖)first, then switch to ―NULL‖.

You need to input three parameters: Line Spacing, Distance Buffer, altitude. We take a Horizontal planning routes with Line Spacing200m,Distance Buffer200m, altitude200m as a example.

Now we can do a simple aerial photography mission without using Remote Control. 1.Power on and wait for the GPS positioning success. 2.Connect Panda2 to our GCS software, using aerial photography route planning function to set a Line Spacing200m,Distance Buffer200m, altitude200m route and upload the route. Set every 4 seconds to automatic take a photo.
