weapon. Only use the weapon if you have un-
derstood the manual.
Observe all notes regarding handling and
operation. Disregarding can cause danger to
life and limb.

far as described in this manual.
Only use undamaged pellets of the correct
caliber.
Store the weapon separately from ammuni-
tion and beyond the reach of un-authorized
persons (especially children).
Control of manometer level at the compressed
air cylinder only with unloaded and uncocked
weapon.
The operational safety of this weapon is gu-
aranteed by a perfect design and by precise
manufacturing of all parts.
Safety and function of the weapon, however,
may be impaired if subjected to unusual stress
such as a heavy blow or fall. In such an event,
the weapon must be checked thoroughly by
the manufacturer.
Safety notes for the handling of compressed
air cylinders

Beim Spannen und Laden muss der Spannhe-

right-hand version with long pre-compressed air
cylinder. Handling and operation of the version
with left-hand grips is identical.
The manual applies also to the model P 8X with
short barrel.
FEINWERKBAU air pistols model P 8X are single
loaders for pellets in cal. 4,5 mm/.177.
Model P 8X disposes of an adjustable walnut
grip. Front sight and rear sight can be shifted and
swiveled.
Model P 8X is equipped as standard with an ab-
sorber, reducing the release impulse of the pellet.
Propellent is pre-compressed air. The pre-com-
pressed air is in the detachable and rellable
pre-compressed-air cylinder located beneath
the barrel. Cylinders are only to be lled with pre-
compressed air. On dispatch the cylinders are em-
pty and have to be lled before rst use
For cocking and loading the cocking lever has to
be pushed rearward as far as it will go after the
audible click. Thus the ring pin is cocked at the
same time and on release, some compressed-air
is delivered to the intermediate chamber and the
absorber is in starting position. Insert the pellet
into the loading port, close the cocking lever and
the pistol is ready to re. Watch the position of the
slider for dry-ring.
If the air pistol is not in use for longer time (4-6
weeks) the compressed-air cylinder can be scre-
wed o. A certain loss of pressure will be possible
if the compressed-air cylinder stays screwed on
the pistol over a long period.
