General Généralités Feinwerkbau percussion revolver model „History No. 2“ is an original replica of a revolver which has been produced for the American civil war by the company Rogers & Spencer, Utica, New York. According to the style it’s a single-action-percussionrevolver with a closed frame. Experts of that time were of the opinion that it is the best revolver of this style. From the historical point of view this revolver has been produced from the company Rogers & Spencer.

Regarding competitions of DSB it is allowed to remove the cylinder and load it outside of the arm by means of a socalled cylinder-loading tool. We advise you to pay attention that cylinder, independent of loading condition, has to be treated like an arm. It has to point always in safe direction and should be never pointed to people.
For shooting ⇒ Take up position for shooting. ⇒ Place hammer (3) in safety notch. ⇒ Put on percussion cap on pistons (nipples). Attention! Due to safety reasons keep generally percussion cap box closed! ⇒ Pull back the hammer until it collapses in cocking notch. Now the revolver is loaded and ready for firing! Attention: A loaded arm should not be left unattended. ⇒ If you do not shoot, carefully uncock the hammer which should not hit on the piston (nipple).

Barrel and frame with hammer and trigger Canon et forme avec chien et détente Lauf und Rahmen mit Hahn und Abzug ⇒ Carefully clean the inside of barrel with oiled cleaning felts or patches. ⇒ Repeat this procedure, until there are no more remains of black powder. ⇒ Rub off any remains of black powder and percussion caps on the visible surfaces of the revolver with oil. ⇒ When rubbing off you should also rub the striking surface as well as include the further outline course of the hammer.
