Follow Lockout/Tagout and other safety precautions when performing maintenance or connecting / disconnecting cabling, wiring, and equipment. Chapter 5: Powering Up and Initial Checks enFORCE Operation Manual • Check the Input Voltages (2.1, 4.4) Verify that the Input Power Connector is properly wired and that the voltage to be applied is within the specified range. Verify that the 24VDC and 0VDC common wires are properly connected. Damage may occur if wired improperly. Be sure to check the previously mentioned items before turning the power on.
Chapter 5: Powering Up and Initial Checks enFORCE Operation Manual 5.2 Initial Data Setting (Display Module Required) After the previous items have been completed, turn on the power supply and then verify that the necessary parameter data required for pressing has been entered and is correct (IE: distance, load, speed, etc). To perform these checks, the following signals from external control equipment (PLC, selector switch, etc) to the SAN unit must be set. STOP signal must be set high.
