NOTE: Thegapdrainisnotdesignedtocatchthemaximumdischargepos-
siblefromthereliefvalve.TheinstallationofFEBCOairgapwiththedrain
lineterminatingaboveafloordrainwillhandleanynormaldischargeornui-
sancespittingthroughthereliefvalve.However,floordrainsizemayneed
tobedesignedtopreventwaterdamagecausedbyacatastrophicfailure
condition.Donotreducethesizeofthedrainlinefromtheairgapfitting.
Specifications
Theairgapdrainshallbecorrosionresistantmaterialwithstainlesssteel
mountingfasteners.Thedrainmustbeofadesignthatallowsmountingby
attachmentofthedraintothereliefvalveofareducedpressureassembly.
TheairgapdrainshallbeFEBCOSeriesAGDorpriorapprovedequal.
