Initial Set-up TPC
To start using the TPC solely the connection to a suitable Power Supply is needed. Once the system is
plugged IN and the On/Off button is pressed the system starts and is usable.

faytech´s standard TPC voltage ranges are as followed:
7“ to 22” TPC or Kiosk: 12V DC-IN
32“ and larger: 24V DC-IN
IP65 models: 8-36V DC-IN
PleasetakecaretoALWAYSjustusetheappropiatePowerSupply.Wrongvoltagesappliedmayharmthesystemimmediately.
BIOS-settings
For a complete mainboard manual please refer to the faytech-mainboard product manual which is also
available on faytech´s webpage or on the Driver-DVD. In the following, just the most important
information are provided:

When a wrong resolution setting in BIOS is used it may occur that after reboot there is no more picture on
the panel. For this reason, only experienced users should make changes to the BIOS.
Please get the right resolution from the hardware spec () and do not set up ANY OTHER resolution in the
BIOS. How to fix a wrong resolution setting please refer to the paragraph trouble shooting.

Preinstalled Linux-SW
When an actual Ubuntu Software is preinstalled the following LogIn information are preset:
User-Name: user
Password: user123
If you want to change the password please open a terminal, type “sudo su”, press “Enter”. The password is
“user123”. Please chose “passwrd user” and type in your new password.
Operation
Besides the On/Off Button there are no more buttons needed for operation. Once set up you can use the
TPC just with your fingers and operate accordingly.
