If it offsite users need to send faxes, typically all that is required is the fax domain be published in DNS.                    
Add an A record that points to the fax server’s public IP (for HTTP client access, see 3.1.2.2 Using HTTP                   
Clients over the Internet). Also add an MX record for the fax domain that points to your Exchange mail                  
server.


2.9.5EmailAddressing
Note that the FaxOut Client Suite adds buttons to Outlook that create addresses in the proper               
formatautomatically.

2.9.5.1SMTPAddressFormat
The general address format for use with the SMTP email gateway is faxnumber@domain. For example,              
to send to (503) 5550123 if the SMTP gateway’s domain is fax.company.com, the email address will be                
[e-mail].

It is also possible to add a “display name” to put on the cover sheet. The format corresponds to the                   
standardSMTPdisplaynamesyntax:

