Purpose of Device:
It’s tempting to power FPV equipment off RC packs as the voltage is correct and the average modeler
usually has a few working packs that are a bit puffy and don’t want to use for flying anymore. The
problem with RC packs is they are designed for high discharge rates and thus have no safety circuitry
to prevent runaway discharge should a short accidentally be introduced into the FPV gear.
The Power Shield adds safety by inserting reverse voltage protection and fused circuitry to prevent
cable fires in the event of shorts.
Max Rating: 13V, 2A (2A diode and 2A fuse)
