For this condition, use the
6¼" ThruLok fastener
Install first screw 1" in from the edge of 1.
the post and 2" (+/- ¼") from the top
of the rim board
Install second screw 1" in from the to 2.
other edge of the post and 3" (+/- ¼")
from the top of the rim board
Install third screw in the center of the 3.
post and 2" (+/- ¼") from the bottom
of the rim board
CONDITION 1 – EXTERIOR MOUNTED 4X4 POST TO 2X RIM
For this condition, use the
6¼" ThruLok fastener
Install first screw in the center of the 1.
post and 2" (+/- ¼") from the top of
the rim board
Install second screw 1" in from the other 2.
edge of the post and 3" (+/- ¼") from
the bottom of the rim board
Install third screw 1" in from the edge 3.
of the post and 2" (+/- ¼") from the
bottom of the rim board
For this condition, use the
6¼" ThruLok fastener
Install first screw 1" in from the edge of 1.
the post and 2" (+/- ¼") from the top
of the rim board
Install second screw 1" in from the other 2.
edge of the post and 2" (+/- ¼") from
the bottom of the rim board
Install third screw centered on both the 3.
post and the rim board
