3.5 P-700 Yukon Reader Mounting Instructions
When mounting to a flat surface, five holes need to be drilled to mount the P-700’s
electronics package (refer to Figure 5:). One large hole (1.25 inches - 25.5 mm)
accommodates the beeper and reader cable. Four small pilot holes for a #10 countersunk
screw (0.190 inches - 4.8 mm) are for mounting the electronics package to a flat wall
surface.

If mounting to a metal surface, a spacer that is at least 5 inches (127 mm) thick must be
mounted between reader and metal surface. This spacer must be made of a non-metallic
material such as plastic.
