Resolving a Ribbon Break/Jam Error
All Troubleshooting procedures assume that only factory-authorized supplies are in use in
the Printer.
Step Procedure
1 Review the following information.
Symptom: The Print Ribbon has become jammed or has broken in
the Printer
Printer Error State: The Ribbon Supply Encoder Sensor has
unexpectedly stop receiving information from the Ribbon Encoder
LCD Error Display: Ribbon Break/Jam
Driver Monitor Error Display: Ribbon Break/Jam
