Insure the ventilation hood is installed
at a min clearance of 6 ft (1.8 m) away
from the exhaust vents of a combustion
source and contaminants.
Ex: Gas furnace, dryer, gas boilers,
range hoods, barbecue, garbage bin,
driveway or garage.
IMPORTANT: Install ventilation hood a minimum of 18” (457 mm) above grade.
Do not install under a deck, enclose porch, patio, garages, crawl spaces or attics.
